I grew up playing all different sports and pursued many throughout high school, and eventually college as well, namely soccer. I have also skied, for fun and competitively. I knew early on I wanted to be a coach. I was incredibly fortunate to have some incredible coaches and mentors, and some truly awful ones as well, all of which helped form me into the kind of coach and person I am now.
I am a teacher and educator, as well as a coach, and I think that’s part of my strength as a coach — I am able to teach, scaffold, guide, and mentor my athletes through difficult workouts, games, and obstacles outside of sport too. I love working with all athletes of all skill levels and abilities. I think my teaching background helps me with newer athletes in making sure they feel successful and thrive in the CrossFit and Sport settings I coach in. My passion is to work with women; to help women know it’s okay to take up space, physically, emotionally, vocally. I love seeing women grown in confidence and mental strength and fortitude. It’s amazing, and I’m so grateful to be part of that.
